The talk of the town this week is StartupBlink’s Global Startup Ecosystem Report 2025, and for good reason:

• Barcelona is the #1 leading startup ecosystem in Spain, climbing 5 spots to rank 33rd globally

• It has retained its #5 spot in the EU

• Barcelona has the highest annual growth of the top 5 Spanish cities at 40.4%, with Madrid (which ranked #2 in Spain and only grew 18.5%)
